O, Come, All Ye Faithful

Here’s an advanced piano arrangement of the traditional Christmas carol "O Come All Ye Faithful" (aka Adeste Fideles). I used a lot of chime-like dissonances to depict the overtones created by church bells ringing. The trick is to hold the pedal down during those dissonances; to make it easier on you, I marked down all the pedaling in great detail. Normally I wouldn’t mark down the pedaling (since it comes so naturally to most pianists) but in this case the pedal is key to achieving this particular chime-like sound on the piano. It will work best on a grand piano given the natural reverberation of the wood, but you can still achieve a decent result on a keyboard, like I did in the video below.
