Hi, my name is Raluca and I absolutely LOVE old church hymns. I grew up in a Romanian Baptist church where we were singing timeless hymns such as Amazing Grace or It Is Well With My Soul in our own Romanian language.
Hymns provide me with comfort during difficult times. Hymns are also a fountain of joy during good times. The hymnal is a testimony of past saints who have experienced God’s presence in profound ways. The artistry of the lyrics weaved together with memorable melodies is a treasure that I shall cherish forever.
Many churches no longer sing hymns, but that doesn’t mean that hymns are dying. Rather, you and I can keep them alive in our own homes. My sweet grandmother sang hymns every day while she was cooking. She showed me how hymns are a part of our daily lives, not just part of the church experience.

So often as a church pianist I am primarily concerned with melody, harmony, rhythm, making sure the congregation is well supported by the piano accompaniment. However, in those moments I miss out on the richness of lyrics such as this one. It took me a long time to finish this coloring sheet. But that was time well spent, meditating on Jesus, his voice, and his calling. That is why I'm offering these coloring sheets with hymn lines - to help church pianists (or anyone who loves coloring 😉) experience the blessing of these WORDS of timeless hymns.
FAQ
1. Why should I buy mp3 when everything is available for streaming?
I love this question! I used to think the same way until a few months ago. While it is very convenient to stream music on Spotify or YouTube, the reasons I’ve become a big fan of mp3 downloads are:
(a) I can still play the mp3 files when the wi-fi goes out
(b) I can still play the mp3 files if Spotify ceases to exist
(c) I can still play the mp3 files if the original artist withdraws their music from Spotify
(d) In a nutshell – I own the file for all eternity.
2. I don’t play piano. What should I do with the sheet music?
Gift them to your church pianist! Sheet music is expensive and they will be forever grateful for receiving such a thoughtful gift from you!
3. I don’t have a CD player anymore; what do I do with the CD?
We live in a fast-changing world where technology is always one step ahead of us! Today I can only play CDs in my car, hence why I’m offering you the digital files as part of this package! You have my permission to re-gift the CD to someone who still has a CD player :)
4. I am not technologically savvy; I don’t know how to use the audio files.
