We Three Kings of Orient Are (Easy Piano)

$3.99

Early intermediate pianists will absolutely LOVE this arrangement of Christmas carol “We Three Kings.” It is written in a very predictable manner, building on accompaniment patterns and textures that are very common in classical repertoire, such as block chords and broken chords. On the first verse (which is in a minor key) the right hand plays a straight-forward melody in the middle register while the left hand plays block chords. On the chorus (which is in a major key) the right hand moves up an octave to allow the left hand to play block chords in the middle register where these type of chords sound best. On the second verse the right hand plays the same melody as on the first page, while the left hand plays new accompaniment patterns (broken chords) following the same harmonic progression as on the first page.
