Ave Verum Corpus (Mozart)

$5.99

This is a late-intermediate, early-advanced piano solo arrangement of the choral motet “Ave Verum Corpus” composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in 1791. In writing this arrangement, I kept the essence of the original composition by maintaining Mozart’s melody and harmonic structure. At the same time, I explored various layers of the piano register – half way through you will hear the melody move to the left hand in the middle register while the right hand plays an arpeggiated texture. This piano arrangement is written in a gentle style, making it the perfect choice for communion services, Holy Week (particularly on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday), or any other time when we remember Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross. Suitable for a church prelude, offertory or postlude. CHECK OUT the sheet music previews to determine if this arrangement is the right fit for you! LISTEN to the full recording below!
